Suzanne

Suzanne along with her husband Pete started Pulse salon in 2007.  Suzanne is a color specialist that has worked with several different brands of professional color. She moved to Portland in 2006 from Minneapolis, Minnesota where she worked at an Aveda Concept salon. While she was in Minnesota she attended the original Horst Institute and took classes to certify her in advanced Aveda technique. Suzanne loves most aspects of Aveda but chooses to use a European brand of Hair color called Schwarzkopf.  Schwarzkopf color is a vibrant shimmering color that like Suzanne’s hair cuts has longevity.

Suzanne has an artistic eye that compliments her technique. She hears from her clients that she truly listens to create the style each and every client is looking for. Suzanne loves making her clients look and feel beautiful inside and out.

Haley

Hailey gets fabulous reviews from her clients. She has a talent for listening and giving her clients exactly what they are looking for.

Hailey came to Pulse from a salon in Northwest Portland. She was a part of that salon for three years. During that time she attended education classes at the Vidal Sassoon academy in Sana Monica, California. Hailey has also taken advanced training in Kadas hair color.

Hailey is ready to listen to you and your hair to get you into a great style with a creative flare.

Crystal

Crystal has over 13 years experience as a professional Hair & Makeup Artist in Hollywood,CA bringing unique skills and a vast array of experience! Specializing in Cut & Color, curly or fine she’ll bring your hair to life!

Her Portfolio includes Editorials with magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and Harpers Bazaar. Advertising campaigns for Michael Kors, Gucci, Calvin Klein and Burberry.

Crystal has worked on the locks of A-Lister’s Demi Moore, Selma Hayek,
Gisele, Jessica Simpson and Hillary Swank among others.

She has spent the last 3 years getting know what PDX is all about and has mastered blending low maintenance with an A-list flair!

Rose

Rose is a vivacious, dynamic, and multi-talented stylist. Rose specializes in hair cutting and has gained extensive knowledge in various cutting techniques and designs throughout her education. Rose always takes a great deal of pleasure in helping her clients find a cut and color that compliments their facial structure and skin tones without compromising personal preference. Her main goal though is to have every client leave loving their hair.

Chisten

Christen moved to the Portland area from Salt Lake City, Utah in July of 2005.  She has been working at Pulse Salon for almost a year and loves it.  She enjoys spending time with the other girls at the salon which makes for a great work environment.  Her cosmetology training was received in Utah at Cameo College and she then continued developing her skills through an apprenticeship with Toni and Guy Salon in Clackamas.  She prefers Redken color to achieve beautiful results, but her training is specialized in cut and style.  In her free time she loves doing anything that involves having fun in the Portland outdoors and is very busy with a new baby boy.

Ivy

Ivy’s goal as a hair stylist is to find the hairstyle that will suit you as an individual. Ivy has a special relationship with each and every one of her clients and makes them look and feel gorgeous.

Ivy trained at the Vidal Sassoon Institute in Santa Monica, California. She has countless hours of haircutting and coloring classes that assist her in her technique. She has been studying different techniques for the past ten years.

Ivy has spent the past six years at a salon in Northwest Portland then joined the team at Pulse in early 2008.

Ivy would love to get you in her chair to relax, have a glass of wine, and let her work her magic.

Natasha

Through her extensive training in Massage, Health Sciences, Nutrition &Yoga, Natasha has created a creative fusion of many different kinds of mind and body therapies including:  Thai, Deep Tissue Swedish, Trigger- Point Therapy, Chakra Integration, Acupressure, Holistic Lifestyle Consultation, Yoga Coaching and Myofacial Release. As an honors graduate of East-West College of the healing Arts, Natasha is also recognized as a top tutor and evaluator of Anatomy and Physiology for the college.  By listening carefully to the specific needs of each client she creates a focused, completely unique, completely caring professional healing experience.  Great for stress reduction, relaxation, and a multitude of health benefits!
