Kelly

Kelly was raised in Wisconsin and spent seven years in Denver before relocating to Portland in Spring of 2011 and starting at Pulse as our Salon Coordinator. Kelly’s degree in Psychology and her years of work experience in customer service and management make her a great asset to our team. Kelly is a caring, fun loving person that clients and staff enjoy. She strives to facilitate excellence in customer service to each and every client at Pulse. It is extremely important to her – and all the staff – that every client leaves the salon feeling they were cared for with the highest level of ability and professionalism. Suzanne

Suzanne along with her husband Pete started Pulse salon in 2007.  Suzanne is a color specialist that has worked with several different brands of professional color. She moved to Portland in 2006 from Minneapolis, Minnesota where she worked at an Aveda Concept salon. While she was in Minnesota she attended the original Horst Institute and took classes to certify her in advanced Aveda technique. Suzanne loves most aspects of Aveda but chooses to use a European brand of Hair color called Schwarzkopf.  Schwarzkopf color is a vibrant shimmering color that like Suzanne’s hair cuts has longevity.

Suzanne has an artistic eye that compliments her technique. She hears from her clients that she truly listens to create the style each and every client is looking for. Suzanne loves making her clients look and feel beautiful inside and out.

Rebecca

Rebecca comes to Pulse with 6 years of experience, 5 of those years working for an Aveda only concept salon where she received extensive training in cutting and color. Her passion is hair color and loves creating beautiful work with Redken color. Rebecca is great at wedding updo’s or any special occasion styling. Whether you want a contemporary classic cut or a funky new style, you are sure to be pleased with the experience you have with Rebecca as well as the result. She believes in giving not just a first class experience, consistent service, but creating and providing each guest with what they need to recreate their look at home. “Customer service and guest experience is why I love what I do”

Megan

Megan brings the kind of energy and infectious optimism that inspires those around her. Her attention to detail and her creativity have made her a successful stylist. She enjoys creating custom color for each individual, ranging from subtle, sun kissed highlights to bold, vibrant tones. Meg, being a curly haired girl herself, understands how to work with different textures and can teach you how to work with what you’ve got. She loves sculpting funky pixie and asymmetrical styles, or simply putting a twist on a classic look to create a fashion forward style. In addition, Megan enjoys creating styles for fashion shows and photo shoots. She offers awe inspiring special event hair and makeup and achieves beautiful, natural eyebrow shaping.

Monica

Monica is Southern California born, raised and educated where she worked at a nationally recognized leading Bumble and Bumble salon for five years. She has had extensive training in San Diego, New York and Los Angeles, working with Bumble and Bumble, Schwarzkopf, Wella, and Redken. Continual education is very important to her to keep her skills fresh, and deliver modern technique to her clients. She believes in ensuring each client receives a technically precise cut and color to compliment each individuals lifestyle as well as a professional, thorough service. She looks forward to helping you create the perfect cut and style for your needs.

Randi

Randi was very excited to join the Pulse Team. She has been styling hair for a number of years and has loved every moment. Randi comes to us from an upscale salon in Lake Oswego. She has had extensive cutting and color training from Redken. With this training combined with her years of experience, Randi can showcase her skills on a wide range of hair types. Randi has an eye that sees and creates beautiful form on all types of hair and has a true passion for short cuts.

During your consulting with Randi she will make sure she knows about your lifestyle to find the perfect look. Randi is very outgoing and loves to meet new people. She is fun and artistic. Randi feels at home here at Pulse and would love the opportunity to help you look and feel your best.

Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn is committed to enhancing your natural beauty and helping your skin reach its optimum health. She specializes in therapeutic facials catering to all skin types, treating scarring, acne, sun damaged, aging, and dull devitalized conditions. Kaitlnys years of massage experience make her facials out of this world relaxing.

She has had extensive training in facial and body waxing and is highly skilled in make-up artistry. Her skills and the Pharmagel skin care line combine to achieve the youthful vibrancy we all desire. She can’t wait to pamper you!

Megan

With a passion for beauty, skincare, makeup and fashion, Megan offers many gifts to her clients. Megan focuses on providing the most relaxing facials possible and achieves beautiful results. Look forward to brightening dull and uneven skin tones, and revealing a luminous, clear and pure complexion. Not only will her facials improve the overall health of your skin, but this treatment will relax your mind, body and spirit!

Megan loves makeup! Be it accentuation of your natural beauty or transformation into a bold new you, Megan will know just what to do. Megan is well known for her refined ability to enhance your lashes for the day with the application of either individual or strip lashes to really make your eyes pop!

Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn’s massage practice is centered around her clients comfort, health, safety, privacy, and confidentiality. With extensive training at Everest Institute and further experience working at Massage Envy and Massage Works Pain Relief Clinic, she specializes in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Hot Stone, Reflexology, and Aromatherapy. She incorporates stretches and METs into her practice to lengthen, strengthen, and reduce the chance of injury to the muscles. Kaitlyn strives to understand each individual’s concerns and customizes their massage to address their specific needs.
